Shine Hard

The town of Gruberville is in trouble! Famous for being a premier holiday destination, Gruberville was hit by disaster when a freak storm destroyed their epic Christmas tree. Mayor Hans has left in search of a replacement, but only the magic of Spruce Willis can save them.

How to Play

Help Spruce Willis save Gruberville by collecting the scattered decorations and becoming the new town Christmas Tree. You can even pick up a snowball or two along the way. You know... just in case.

The more ornaments you collect, the more you'll jingle-jangle. Best avoid the villagers who think you're up to no good lest they take back ornaments they think you've stolen!

Will the villagers dim their holiday spirit? Or can you make it back to the town square and Shine Hard!

• Look: WASD
• Move: Spacebar + WASD
• Use/Pick up item: E
• Hide: Shift
• Super Jump: Hold and release Spacebar
• Throw Snowballs: Left mouse click
• Close-up view: Scroll mouse wheel

This game was made as part of the Godot Wild Jam #76: Freeze. The wildcards included are:

• Silent Night: You must be quiet as you pass by villagers to avoid their attention.
• UI Is Real: The community bulletin board houses the game menu.
• Advent Calendar: New postcards populate the community board each date during the voting period.

Known Issues

• Cannot interact with the community board after starting game
• The Star Topper is missing from the map (bottom right corner)
