Inkfection
Inkfection is a fast-paced adventure to save your favorite storybooks by destroying the inklings source of power! Erase the ink creatures on each level to charge the portal to the next story and continue your search.
How to Play
The Inklings are your enemy! Your attacks will erase them, but they will hurt you if they touch you.
Erasing Inklings charges the portal to the next level. Defeat enough of them to progress!
Erasing the Ink Blot covered ground can sometimes reveal one of the Inkception storybooks’ many mystical powerups!
Controls
Inkception supports Mouse&Keyboard // Gamepad
- Move: WASD // Left Stick
- Aim: Mouse // Right Stick
- Basic Attack (Trusty Eraser): Left Click // Right Trigger
- This basic Erasing Attack that deals damage to enemies along the path you are aiming.
- Special Attack (WhiteOut Grenade): Right Click // Left Trigger
- This special attack erases a large chunk of the game world and enemies that are inside of it. It has a short cooldown time before you can use it again!
- Shop: Tab // Back
- Pause/Menu: Esc // Menu
Acknowledgements
This game was made as part of the Godot Wild Jam #78: Erase and made in just 9 days. The wildcards included are:
- Style Shift: The main game is a 2d vector-esque art style while the UI is hand drawn.
- Shopoholic: Purchase upgrades in the shop!
Known Issues
- Controller/Game Pad not available for the web version.
- Can occasionally get stuck in own attack collision, resolves naturally.
- Web version plays best in Chrome. Mouse may disappear in other browsers.
- Key bind settings are all listed as "action."

Omg this game is amazing! The final boss was really cool too, especially with the effect you put. I absolutely loved the powerups and the swarm mechanic. The only issue I had was with the grenade increase causing me to bomb myself if I wasn't careful lol. Great job! I would love to see more levels and an expansion! <3
Thanks so much for playing! Getting stuck in the grenade blast was a bug that was found too close to the deadline for us to fix before submission. Hopefully we can put a fix in once the voting period ends. We had plans for more levels, but as the only artist I just didn't have enough time. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
